Totally Lit: Meet Whale Shark Jack and his creator

Ever wonder what happens when a book turns into a movie? Come hang out with Kathryn Lefroy, the author and screenwriter behind Whale Shark Jack and find out!

She’ll spill the secrets: What’s hard about writing for a book? What’s different when you’re writing for a movie? What’s the weirdest thing that happened on set? There will be laughs, behind-the-scenes stories and interactive activities so bring your imagination, your questions and your creative chaos!

This event will take place in front of the Maritime Museum’s new exhibition of Whale Shark Jack. A screening of the feature film Whale Shark Jack will follow Kathryn’s presentation. Tickets for the screening must be booked separately.
