Compound Reversing and Condensing Launch Engine

This very compact steam launch engine features integral condenser to turn the waste steam from the exhaust back into fresh water to be recycled through the boiler to be used again.

Condensing equipment was vital in steam engines used in Western Australia because of the shortage of fresh water.
